I currently am an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia. Prior to this, I held positions at the School of Banking and Finance within UNSW Business School at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and in the Department of Finance at HKUST Business School in Hong Kong.

My research interests lie in the broad areas of Corporate Finance and Household Finance. Within the area of Corporate Finance, research questions that interest me often relate to Corporate Governance, Executive and Employee Compensation, Insider Trading, and Behavioral Corporate Finance.

I have taught courses at the Undergrad, Masters, and Ph.D. levels on Corporate Finance, Empirical Methods for Causal Analysis, and Cryptocurrencies & DeFi.

I was a founding co-organizer of the Asia-Pacific Corporate Finance Online Workshop (ACFOW), with the objective of getting junior researchers in corporate finance in the Asia-Pacific region to share their research and interact in a small and friendly group. More information here: www.acfow.com
